It is my pleasure to welcome all students, faculty members, staff, and alumni of the College of Education, as well as visitors to the College's website on the Qatar University portal. I am equally honored to express my pride in the central role the College of Education plays in fulfilling Qatar University's mission and supporting its efforts to enhance the quality of its undergraduate and graduate programs — programs that prepare highly competent graduates who are well qualified to contribute to building the future of the State of Qatar, particularly by preparing students capable of assuming key roles in the development of the country's education system.
I also take great pride in the achievements the College of Education has realized, most notably its attainment of academic accreditation, and in the continued progress and success we have accomplished together. These achievements inspire us to redouble our efforts in the service of society, humanity, science, and knowledge.
In line with the College's mission, we are committed to preparing and nurturing students who can contribute to Qatar's future progress and prosperity in accordance with recognized international standards. To this end, the College strives to provide a supportive learning environment designed to enable students to achieve their goals and professional aspirations, and to work together in sharing knowledge and experience. Equally important, the College of Education offers a rich variety of valuable social and extracurricular activities that give students the opportunity to develop their professional and interpersonal skills.
Furthermore, through the conduct of scholarly research, the provision of professional development opportunities for local educators, and the delivery of services that benefit the community, the College of Education continues steadily on its path of building and maintaining strong, effective relationships with all segments of society and with its partners.
Of equal importance are the social skills and experiences our students gain through their interaction with faculty members and through the meaningful activities organized by the College of Education in service of the State of Qatar.
