    Important Notes

    • For more information on the change of major requirements, please visit the College's webpage on Qatar University's website.
    • Please note that admission is competitive and is subject to both the available capacity and the approval of the designated College and the academic program.
    • Students applying for a change of major must adhere to the academic track of their secondary school certificate. In order to be eligible for a change of major to any Science or Technology-based major—except Colleges of Health Sciences and Nursing—students must have completed their secondary school certificate in a Science or a Technology track respectively. This policy is applicable to all students admitted to Qatar University in Fall 2021 and onwards.
    • Active undergraduate students who have completed their secondary school certificate in either Arts or Technology tracks may apply for a change of major to science-track majors, provided that they meet the following requirements at the time of application.
    • For students who would like to apply for a change of major in the colleges that require passing the Foundation Program, please pay attention to the following points:
      • They are required to register and pay for the English and Mathematics placement tests by clicking here.
      • English and Mathematics placement tests for change of major applicants will be held according to the following details:
