Please note that admission is competitive and is subject to both the available capacity and the approval of the designated College and the academic program.
Students applying for a change of major must adhere to the academic track of their secondary school certificate. In order to be eligible for a change of major to any Science or Technology-based major—except Colleges of Health Sciences and Nursing—students must have completed their secondary school certificate in a Science or a Technology track respectively. This policy is applicable to all students admitted to Qatar University in Fall 2021 and onwards.
Active undergraduate students who have completed their secondary school certificate in either Arts or Technology tracks may apply for a change of major to science-track majors, provided that they meet the following requirements at the time of application.
For students who would like to apply for a change of major in the colleges that require passing the Foundation Program, please pay attention to the following points:
